REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

Regenerative medicine uses biotherapeutic regenerative therapies to create an environment in which your body’s own tissues can repair themselves, providing natural pain relief and increased mobility and function in damaged joints. Read more here.

HOMEOPATHIC OPTIONS

We use two homeopathic prescription injectables Traumeel® and Zeel®. Used together they have been shown to have results similar to corticosteroid injections, but without their negative side effects. Read more here.

MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS

Stem cells are precursor cells to your body’s tissues; they develop into new cells that replace old, damaged, or worn out cells, repairing the tissues to which they belong. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are particularly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, as they develop into bones, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. Read more here.

IV THERAPY
Intravenous infusions of fluids, minerals, and vitamins may be used to enhance wellness, support immune system function, mediate the effects of aging, aid in workout recovery/healing, improve cognitive function, and provide hydration. Read more here.
PLATELET-RICH PLASMA

The platelets in your blood plasma play a major role in the repair of damaged tissues. In response to tissue damage, platelets release chemical growth factors that promote healing, stimulate new cell growth, and accelerate the tissue repair process. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrate of platelets and plasma made in-office from your own blood. PRP can be used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Read more here.

ABOUT

OUR OFFICE

Dr. Chauncy Eakins, MD, MS, FAAPMR, DABPM is a pain specialist. He received his medical degree from Ross University (NJ) in 2008, and completed his residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center (NY) in 2014. Dr. Eakins completed a fellowship at Michigan Sports and Spine in 2015. He is double-boarded in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in Pain Management. Board certification in a specialty area demonstrates a physician’s advanced training, dedication, experience, and knowledge within that specialty area.

At Ohio Restorative Medicine we manage pain conditions using a holistic approach that encompasses the best practices of both traditional and alternative treatment modalities. Our goal is to help our patients return to normal function using non-opiate, non-steroidal, and non-surgical means, whenever possible.

Regenerative medicine uses biotherapeutic regenerative therapies, such as Mesenchymal Stem Cells in the form of Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), to create an environment in which your body’s own tissues can repair themselves, providing natural pain relief and increased mobility and function in damaged joints. BMAC and PRP are created in our office from your own bone marrow or blood.

Thank you for visiting our website. We look forward to helping you develop a positive path towards health and wellness and a life free from pain.
